Lucas Valley-Marinwood is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Marin County, California, United States. It is situated in the southern part of the county, and its population was 6,094 as of the 2020 census.
The area is largely residential and is surrounded by rolling hills and open space. It is well known for its natural beauty and its proximity to popular recreation areas such as Mount Tamalpais and the Marin Headlands.
The community is home to several parks and recreational facilities, including the Marinwood Community Center, which offers a variety of programs and activities for residents of all ages. There are also several hiking and biking trails in the area, as well as golf courses and tennis courts.

The area’s most famous resident was filmmaker George Lucas, who lived in the area for many years and named his Skywalker Ranch after Lucas Valley. The Lucasfilm headquarters are also located nearby in San Francisco.
